Vertical Videos

Everything here is 9:16. Shot on a phone, held the way a phone is held, meant to be watched on a phone. No black bars, no pinching to zoom, no turning the device sideways in bed.

This is a format, not a genre. What's inside is the same amateur and POV material as everywhere else on the site, just framed differently, and the framing does more than you'd expect. Vertical crops the room out. You lose the furniture, the window, half the bed, and what's left is a tall narrow strip of whatever the camera is actually pointed at. It's tighter and more claustrophobic than a wide shot, and for POV that works in its favour.

The trade-off is real: you can't fit two full bodies in the frame, so wide couple scenes don't end up here. What does end up here is solo, close POV, and handheld footage where the person filming is also the person in it. If you're browsing on a phone, this is the category that doesn't waste your screen.
